Biting!! 1 year old

My 12 month old bites me all the time and it's becoming an absolute pain now. He bites my shoulder when I'm holding him or my breasts. Whenever he does it I let out a scream to show it hurts, which it does and he cries. I also place him down and walk away which normally results in more crying. This might sound strict but honestly it hurts. I'm covered in bite marks and he also has put several holes in clothing. I don't think he does it to anyone else. He doesn't do it to dh nor the nursery have never mentioned it. I've never breast fed do he's certainly not looking for milk. Any tips?! Thanks
