Toddler Tantrums

I just want to ask mums out there for some advice. My 2.5 yo has been hitting me and pulled my hair only this morning when he’s lashing out in a tantrum. It’s more directed at me than my other half it seems. I’m finding it hard to deal with and am wondering where he is picking this up from? Is it normal/something he’ll grow out of? Is he seeing this type of behavior from other kids at crèche? Any advice would be welcome.

It’s normal for kids to act out and hit out with the people they have the most secure attachment to. He is doing it with you because he knows you will still be there for him.
