My DD aged 15 is struggling with GCSE's and decided to do a course in art & design instead of A levels. She still wants to go to university (to do graphic design or something similar), but is not sure which course to do for the best. Looking on the internet seems to be tying us up in knots of confusion. There are so many courses out there! We think the best fit is a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design. This gives her lots of choices as to what to do next, but I'd like to know if it's good enough to get into uni with? Is it the equivalent to A levels and if so how many? This is really not my field, so any help most welcome...
