Just that really..

Don't mind Ben & Holly. It's quite funny at times & nanny plum is hilarious. Although I do wonder about the tension between her and the wise old elf..
Bing is a fucking twat. And who is Flop?! Is it his dad? Carer? I have no idea but I can't stand it. And why is there so much shit talked about in it aswell?! Can't seem to find an episode where they aren't discussing literal crap!
Peppa is insufferable but can tune out her rubbish now. Daddy pig is an idiot but George is alright god love him, he's probably sick to the back teeth of them too.

Fire away!

Biggreygoose · 21/06/2018 00:24

I really like Ben and Holly.

Floogles and Nella? are bearable.

Shimmer and shine is shit.

Zombiefy · 21/06/2018 04:43

Bing makes me feel murderous but when my toddler is being a PITA I ask myself “what would Flop do?” Pando, put your fuppin trousers on! It’s the only thing DS likes on tv but it drives me mad.

DriftwoodFascinator · 21/06/2018 05:22

I LOVE Pocoyo. I'll happily watch it on my own.

Every other kids programme can fuck off, but I reserve a very special sort of loathing for Alvin & The Chipmunks.

motherofmenaces · 21/06/2018 05:28

I love love love Hey Duggee, makes me laugh
I don't mind Peter Rabbit but the theme tune really annoys me

PersisFord · 21/06/2018 05:30

Ben and Holly is weird and racist
Peppa is SO CHEEKY
Max from max and ruby is awful too. Those 3 are banned in my house

I like:
Masha and the bear
Octonauts
My little pony
Charlie and Lola
Paw patrol
PJ masks
Dinosaur train

MsJuniper · 21/06/2018 05:35

Do You Know? is appointment TV for all of us in this house.

pinkpantsrock · 21/06/2018 05:40

topsy and tim on cbeebies,oh jesus christ i want to pull my eyes out

TillyTheTiger · 21/06/2018 05:53

Love:
Hey Duggee - hilarious.
Do You Know - I have a crush on Maddie and her enthusiastic nose wrinkling. DH often mocks her - "Wow, a cesspool, I LOVE cesspools, don't you?!"
Go Jetters - educational.

Hate:
Thomas and Friends - hate the narration, the storylines, the way every episode an engine does something dreadful and gets shamed for it. DS adores it.
Peter Rabbit - he's a cocky twat, Lily is insufferable and Benjamin is dithery. They're basically Harry, Hermione and Ron, but with radishes.

Pluckedpencil · 21/06/2018 06:04

"Do you know" is our breakfast TV. It's the only thing the 2 year old, the 6 year old and I can all tolerate simultaneously. Maddie is like a slightly younger Victoria Coren, who has been told to smile because it's for kids TV. I sense behind the facade there is a microbiologist itching to get out.....actually, just checked and she studied theatre etc, so maybe not!!!
My worst is larva, so gross.
And anything that is spawned by YouTube.

Metalhead · 21/06/2018 07:02

I love Ben & Holly! Don’t mind Peppa or Fireman Sam. The little princess is ok too.

Paw Patrol and Dora the Explorer on the other hand were clearly invented with the sole purpose of annoying the shit out of me with their mind-numbing dumbness!

ILoveMyDressingGown · 21/06/2018 07:22

Anything my youngest watches is awful as despite being 6 they still watch cbeebies. I hate grandpa in my pocket, bing, topsy & tim and everything else on there.

My eldest likes Thomas the tank and I hate that too but they also like engineering and history documentaries - that thing on Fridays at the moment about the history of the canals for instance, or abandoned engineering that was on a few weeks ago. I like them and save the recordings so I can watch them too.

Havetothink · 21/06/2018 09:48

Hey Duggee, Mofy, Twirlywoos, Boss baby, little baby bum, Puffin rock, Ben and Holly and of course Peppa pig. Out of them favs are probably Duggee Ben and Holly, puffin rock and Mofy but it helps if theres more than one series of anything because I just get sick of seeing the same thing over and over. Little baby bum is quite irritating but it has some educational qualities and was one of the first programs she would actually sit and watch.

Havetothink · 21/06/2018 09:53

Oh, and one called Simon (it's a family of rabbit people) I don't mind it but it's a bit more negative (siblings arguing, scared of spiders, nothing drastically bad) than some of the other chirpy kids programs. My husband says it's the only cartoon out of the lot where the dad isn't made to look like a moron.

MrsClutterworth · 21/06/2018 11:04

Just remembered Pablo.. the little song at the start is good lol!
In the night garden is quite creepy. There's something quite unsettling about iggle piggle.
Duggee is funny, my ds loves rolly in it (if that's how you spell it).
The best part about Milkshake is the morning is when Derek is presenting. When he sings that sailing ship song he's so enthusiastic, makes my morning haha!

How has no one mentioned Sarah & Duck!

Hey Duggee is good. Ben & Holly is good.

Can't stand Bing. Or Peter rabbit. Or the new fireman Sam. Or the ridiculous rhyming couplets phase Thomas went through.

If you have Disney channels then Phineas & Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law are great.

Love Big Block sing song too actually.

Hmm. I watch too much kids tv Blush

halfwitpicker · 21/06/2018 16:30

Love peppa.

Ds is over it (4)

Roll on DD (18mths) liking it.

halfwitpicker · 21/06/2018 16:30

Puffin Rock too

MrsClutterworth · 21/06/2018 18:40

Can someone explain to me the weird creepiness that is abney and teal?

Nope, but we did watch a few episodes, quite odd.

Pluckedpencil · 21/06/2018 22:10

So glad someone else said that about Abbey and Teal. It is the kids TV equivalent to a french film with subtitles. Just a bit pretentious and... Dare I say it...shit?

Ktay · 21/06/2018 23:08

Lol @Pluckedpencil, you've hit the nail on the head!

Do CBeebies still show Me Too? I used to love that in a so bad it's good way.

For older children, Operation Ouch is ace and I quite like a bit of Dengineers.
