What can you do, hospital just said rest and calpol but DD is miserable and has been for a week..

She has random screaming fits that last hours... And I'm as miserable as she is.

At my wits end and beginning to doubt it's bronchiolitis... She seems in so much pain during the screaming fits.

All the sympathy. My smallest had bronchiolitis at this age too, and it irritated his reflux (yay!) which made him more miserable (and the poor sleep).

Is he more tired? More clingy? I think my son just stayed in the sling so that he was upright and could sleep when he wanted. I also bought a cold humidifier for night time.

It’s a tortuorus time, but it’s nearly over - about 7 days and you should be getting back to normal. If not, see the GP - may be ear infection or something has developed.

I have absolutely no experience with bronchiolitis - had never heard of it. She's a bit stuffy, and has a small cough (maybe once or twice a day). She randomly screams in what sounds like pain and/or frustration. Does this sound like it?

For a while I've suspected digestive problems as her nappies have always been explosive and green but HV etc are never concerned. It can take her 3-4 days to go sometimes and even then they are runny / soft. She strains for ages!
