So my husband has kind of surprised me by saying he'll take the baby (8.5 months) out all day tomorrow and I can have a day to myself.

I have NO idea what to do. It's too late to book a spa treatment, I have no desire to go shopping.
Apart from having a hot cup of tea when they leave, I'm at a loss. I don't want to do loads of tidying.
I'm not a member of a gym and don't fancy going for a walk/run.
All my friends have kids and I think I would like to have a grown up day.
Any suggestions. They'll be gone from 9.30 till maybe 3.30.

Help.

I'd go to a nice cafe for coffee or brunch and read the papers. Then maybe a trip to the cinema if they've an early showing? (Actually, I'd go back to bed and then kick myself for wasting the day but I've had very little sleep in the last 6 years!)

Can you phone up a posh gym and ask for a trial day? Did this for my birthday a couple of years ago and had a lovely time - but of gym, splash in the pool, steam / sauna then finished with coffee and papers in their nice cafe.

Had to put up with a couple of sales calls after but was definitely worth it.

Or any nice hotels near you??

Just go and do coffee / papers in the lounge.

I would have a nice lie-in, even masturbate if I was in the mood Blushthen a lovely long shower or bath with bubbles, a brisk walk or cycle ride and then watch a film on Netflix or read a trashy magazine and then cook something nice for tea.

Yes to solo daytime cinema trip, I love them! Treat yourself to a nice fancy lunch out, or if not a coffee and cake (maybe glass of wine) somewhere nice. Maybe potter found some shops, try on clothes or buy a few treats (nail varnish, book...) Call or text old friends you haven't spoken to in a while. Do a fantasy to-do list of things you'd like to achieve, treat yourself to, or work towards over the next few years.

Get out of the house as early as you can! The time will fly by. Have a lovely day x x

Nice bath with a magazine, a brisk walk then would treat myself to a posh lunch and a trip to the cinema (I, Tonya very good).

Go back to bed and read a book or binge watch something really inappropriate on netflix!
