I have a 10 week old baby girl who is a very healthy weight and has started sleeping from her late feed at 11pm to around 6.30am. When I used to breastfeed her in the early hours of the morning she would take very little and I would then express the rest. If I am not feeding or expressing during these hours will my milk supply go down during the day?
Before if she slept longer than usual my breasts would really hurt and I had to pump.
It is so nice to finally have a long stretch to sleep through, I really don’t want to have to wake up in the night to express!
Does anyone have any experience in this? Thanks!
