Does anyone feel they need to work hard to remain the friendships partly because of the social bonds your child has with Thier children.
I try really hard probably ot into much effort to be as social as possible so my child has a good social life and worry constantly if my friendships breakdown my child will feel isolated. Is this a normal feeling amongst parents

My child's social life was completely separate to ours. We didn't maintain any friendships with other parents. We have our own friends (childless or big differences in age).
