Hi everyone,
Has anyone’s babies top teeth come through first before the bottom set?
Doesn’t seem to bother my daughter through the day but as soon as night time comes she’s screaming with the pain. She has ashton & parsons and calpol to help with teething.
I can see & feel a tooth coming through the top also.
Thanks in advance for your replies Smile

My dd’s top tooth came in first as well. I use anbesol when her teething is really bad as it complete numbs the area. She’s got 8 teeth now and a molar coming through and it’s been the best thing. Also keeping up with the calpol.

Can in ask how old your kids were when they started to teeth. My son is 3 months and I am being told he has started teething ( dribbling lots, chewing his hand, flushed cheeks and niggley and unsettled which is unusual)
Just looking for advice on how long they take to break through? We have dentinox teething gel but I'm not sure when to use this as can't see any teeth in the gums? ConfusedHmmHmm

And just general advice on teething babies and how best to help them, I have bought a gummie glove but he is still mastering getting it to his mouth and Prefers his hand..

I thought top teeth where the first ones to come through.

Dribbling and chewing fists at 3 months is a developmental thing or teething.

Nurofen is best for teething pain. You can also use anbesol teething oil (not gel) as it is really good. When it is bad they can’t sleep nurofen, calpol and anbesol oil.

Most of my kids bottom teeth came through first but my youngests top teeth came through first.
The teething granules are pretty good.

My DS cut 2 bottom teeth at 4.5 months old then nothing till he was 8.5. Within a couple of weeks he had 10 in total. Anbesol teething liquid is fantastic stuff! Buy it in bulk!
Before DS cut the bottom teeth he had all the teething signs for about 6 weeks. I just rubbed the gel or liquid over the top and bottom as and when needed

I used the powders too and they were enough for dc, some of the other parents said you can use powders in combination with gel (anebesol/bongella, so we got both but never really needed the gel.

I hope it gets better for you guys. Bear

Thank you everyone for your replies.
My daughter started teething around 3.5 months, she’s 6 months old now. Dribbling, chewing her fist, chewing everything in reach. Goes through loads of dribble bibs throughout the day. I use Ashton & Parsons and calpol and it seems to do the trick
