In the past week both of my DD’s have commented on my appearance. My eldest told me I have a double chin (I do!) and my youngest asked why I still have a tummy even though I already had her baby brother 5 months ago. (I think I have a bad case of diastis recti)
When I started BF their little brother, my eldest daughter declared that she was never doing that when she was older because she didn’t want nipples like that - apparently they’re disgusting. (TBF my nipples are now the size of dinner plates!)
I have told them both that having a baby and BF is natural and that the female body is amazing and that it will go back to how it used to look (Kind of!) in a while.
However, despite all of that;
I’ve never made any attempt to regain my pre baby body. This has never bothered me in the past but after baby number 3 I’m feeling old, saggy and more worryingly - constantly hungry! I have no willpower to adhere to any sort of diet plan and exercise regime and I’m starting to feel body conscious.
Has anyone got any suggestions/advice regarding how to tackle some if not all of the above?!
