After 5 years of no contact with DD, on Sunday she arrived unannounced at my door having walked for over an hour to see me. To say I was overjoyed would be an understatement and I'm still on cloud 9. She's 16 now and the changes in her since she was 11 are immense but she's still my baby girl to me. She's going through some really tough stuff at the moment (living in supported accommodation and struggling with college) and I just want to look after her. We've texted since but so far no mention of another meeting. I would love nothing better than for her to move in with me but I know the decision has to come from her and I have to take a step back so as not to crowd her. Not sure what my question is here, but any observations, advice would be gratefully received. Thank you
