What do you do with your two year old at the weekend?

Looking for ideas - we generally go to the park, go to a different park and go to a park. What are the best things to do with a two year old at the weekend?

Park is great for a 2 year old!
We did a lot of parks, woods, lakes, city farm, family visits, ball games, garden when mine were that age.

Walks where it doesn't really matter if you don't end up getting anywhere - just a potter at toddler pace. Forests and beaches are perfect for this.

Swimming

Library

Feed the ducks

Drawing/painting/sticker books on wet days

Eat out way too much! Kills time, nice food and less cleaning to do.

1. She runs away and I follow her.
   
2. Throw chicken nuggets in her direction periodically.
   3)Sedate her with CBeebies so I can consume coffee whilst still hot.

No garden at the moment!

We do go swimming sometimes but it seems very stressful somehow (the getting changed but- not the actual swimming which he does love)

He's refusing to walk at the moment (unless he wants to go in the opposite direction which we're going in) so DH gets tired carrying him (I can't carry him far at all - he's at least 15kg but not actually sure.. he's very tall)

Farms round here are all a bit expensive - but he does enjoy them, just can't go every weekend

We have a 3.10 year old and a 2.3 year old. At weekends we;
-go to the park too
-library

• train to museums
  

-any local event so any parade/literature festival/envelope opening we can find
-soft play
-loooooong walks along the canal. Feed the ducks
-go to the pub and/or for a curry

• meet family or friends
  

We have very few lazy weekend days in unless someone's ill. It's like dp is allergic to staying at home!

We normally have one day playing at home, usually a Sunday as I’m a single parent and need to get all the housework done. So little one plays and watches Peppa Pig. Saturday we usually see my mum, go to the park and walk the dogs. Soft play if it’s really wet, or local museum in town is free and child friendly

Also at this time of year, collect conkers and paint them, run through leaves, collect some and make an ‘autumn collage’ at home.
See if there’s a pumpkin farm or pick your own veg farm nearby.
As the weather gets colder, take a flask of hot chocolate with you on walks.

Swimming, balance bike / scooting, walk on the beach (wellies and puddle suit today), park, feed the ducks, visit family, toys - train set, duplo, little kitchen, or football in garden/park, go for ride in bike trailer, railway museum, The Deep - either free museums or ones we’ve paid once and got an annual pass, wash our cars/bikes, chalking on patio if a nice day then fun washing it off, paint and hide rocks for our local FB rock group, go for longer walk - mix of him walking and backpack carrier. Sometimes shopping centre trip with a stop for a treat of a warm milk and cake. Visit grandparents (and put feet up whilst they entertain him!). Bake...cheap packet bun mix, always goes down well.
