Baby's nickname

When I was pregnant with my little girl we decided not to find out the sex, so until we met her we named her 'little bean'. We still call her that now, but now we've expanded into 'pickle' too. I'm curious to know what nicknames everyone has given their babies, before or after birth?

Tiberius, as DH wanted to name the baby after Captain Kirk, regardless of sex. We didn't call her Tiberius, and she now has a nickname loosely associated with her actual name but not related to to the word itself.

Sausage. I don't know where that came from but I'm surprised he doesn't think it's his real name!

Now that he's bigger he's also Cuddlemonster

Tummy Bunny ( cause I used to picture a bunny thumping its feet on my insides when she would kick me)

We found out we were having a boy but decided to keep the name to ourselves until he was born. We called him Gaston. Me, DH and all our friends and family referred to him as Gaston. Once he was born it wasn't said again. He does has one aunty who calls him baby G though.
Me and DH now call him the beastie

Bubsy.

She sometimes calls herself Bubsy too so perhaps we need to use her actual name more!!

Our family life is just a series of constantly evolving nicknames, even the dog.

Our bump never evolved a nickname. He just gets called Baby. But it's Baby used like a name, which feels nicer than 'the baby'
