We have got the fisher price space saver jumperoo for our 5 month old son. He is above average for length and weight and has good head control but he just can't reach the arch with the toys!has anybody had this problem? I Am sure I have put it together correctly. Also there is hardly any bouncing action at all. He just stands in there chewing on one of the rubber toys..
I am also not sure if the seat height is appropriate for him. Does this look about right?
Many thanks

I think they are supposed to be able to get feet flat on the floor. He might be a bit low? Ds 1 couldn't reach the toys on his to start. (different sort) and took a while get the bouncing action.

He's meant to have tip toes on the floor. They are height adjustable so you might need to move it
DS didn't bounce for ages but then once he got the hang, it was an awesome plastic babysitter!

I think they're only supposed to have their toes on the floor - he looks much too low down and wouldn't be able to get a good bounce!

Thank you!
I shall play around with the seat height

Yes too low down, it is tiptoes touching the floor. I had the full jumperoo, one of my friends had the spacesaver which didn't bounce as well.

I'm sure at 5 months mine just sat eating the butterfly he now bounces like a maniac.

Yeah! I agree with above poster! We bought a jungle bouncy fisher price thing when ds2 was tiny! - I believe all the reviews hailed it as the wonder toy which would keep him entertained for hours ... the reality was that ds lasted 5 minutes in it every now and again, never really got the bouncing thing, quite liked the odd chew or glance at the mirror toy that dangled from it, and in the end it ended up going back on eBay from whence it came!!! (For much the same price - actually I think we made money on it!! so all was not lost!!) Good luck, and happy bouncing!! Sure a bit of height adjustment will help 🙂

My son is nearly 8 months and loves his Jumperoo, but only from about 6 months. Your son might be a bit too young for it now x
