What's the best way to de fuz my daughters legs for the first time?

Hi, my daughter is 12 years old and has decided she wants her legs shaved. She is tall for her age and easily passes for a teenager, so I agree.
I'm not sure weather to shave them or use hair removal cream? I did a patch test this morning for my hair removal cream and she was fine. It's going to have to be me who applies the cream or shaves her legs for the first few times, as she has learning difficulties and struggles with things like this. So I'm wondering what would be the easiest way for me to do it.
Thanks.

I think shaving someone else is really difficult, i'd immac and get her a basic electric razor to use herself.

I know it is painful but epilators are great, pull the skin tight and de fuzz and it should hurt less. it will save a fortune in products and you can pull out the shortest hairs with it. I've been using mine for around 18 years and it stops hurting after a while. Nb, do not attempt armpits and approach bikini line with caution when the time comes Confused

I had a similar issue with my dd age 13 this week as some boys at school had been teasing her about her lip hair. I was reluctant to start her shaving it tbh and waxing seemed a bit extreme at her age. We opted for veet (immac! I'm old skool!) and it worked pretty well although it's not something I have ever used. It's a bit messy and faffy though, but seemed like the best choice for her.

Could you do one leg with veet and the scrapper, and let her try the other leg herself? When she's defuzzed and is used to using the scrapper thing, you could switch to shaving gel and a razor.

I meant you do one leg and her the other the first few times, so you can check for missed bits and make sure she rinses all the stuff off. Then let her try herself when you think she's ready.

I'd get her one of those Venus style razors and show her how to use it. Virtually impossible to nick yourself with one if those, unlike those cheap yellow Bic razors! And hair conditioner is better than shaving gel or foam, gives a close shave.

Dd is 13 and did hers for the first time two weeks ago. She used the very in shower cream. She has an too so we went over the instructions carefully. Then once she had used that to get most of it off she used an electric lady shave to get the rest and she has kept on top of it with the shaver since.

Should say as well the shaver is a wet and dry one so she asked me to get the bits she missed st the back once she was out the shower.

DD is 19 now and swears by Venus, don't think she's ever had a cut.

Defo Venus! I rarely change the blade and I've never cut myself
