Hi what deductions if any do you get on your smp how much do you take home

Deductions are the same as for any salary. Depends what your overall salary is for the tax year (April to April) so will depend on when you finish/start work and what your overall earnings are for that period. If you only earnt smp during that whole period you wouldn't pay any income tax as its under the personal allowance threshold.

I got taxed on the first 3 months of smp. Then nothing on the next 6 months. When I got to April I got a rebate.

Can't remember about my NI.

I was getting 70 back each month! I think it depends on how much you've earned that year already. I went on maternity leave from July.
