My LO is due to start nursery soon and I have been advised to put name tags in everything. Does anyone have any recommendations on where is best to get these from? Thanks

Woven Labels

Have always been good. Variety of different type, sew on, iron on etc, plus stickers for lunch boxes etc.

Thanks TeenAndTween. Any suggestions on what type to go for? Something easy to put on would be ideal but I don't want to have to keep replacing them if they come off!

I've always done the traditional sew on woven name tapes as I'm old fashioned and don't trust anything else. Added advantage is that on coats and jumpers you can just sew on the two ends and you have a hanging up loop. Got 2 through primary without losing any clothing that way. If you get one with a picture on the end they can recognise the picture even if they can't read yet. But agree they are more time consuming to do than iron on ones.

Then at least 2 packs of the assorted name stickers for water bottles, pencil cases, shoes etc.

Nametags4u supatags, 52 stickers which will stick onto anything for £6.50

Anything that goes into school I stick on one. They have been through the washer and dryer and still perfect. Don't peel off easily either

YY @ nametags4u. We've got iron-on, the stickers and the clip-on labels. TBH I've not used the iron-on ones as I prefer clip-on for clothes, they're so easy. The stickers have lasted really well on drinks bottles/Tupperware etc, and after 1 1/2 terms look as good as the day I stuck them on.
They do a school pack that has a selection of labels Smile

Sewing on is best - don't come out after tumble drying but you can get them out before you get rid of the clothes.
Also useful for sewing round the band of swimming goggles later. Can re use them for years too.
Think ours were from Able Labels, but that is some time ago.
