Swimming outfit for toddler?

Hi everyone,

My son attended swimming lessons from when he was a baby. He used to wear a swim nappy and a happy nappy as double was the policy. The pool was a hydrotherapy one so really warm. He's had a year break from lessons. We are starting again next week. He's 2 now. Again it is a hydrotherapy pool so I'm assuming it will be nice and warm as before. This is also good for him as he has ezcema so not the chlorine as in local pools.
I was just wondering if anyone could suggest what would be best for him to wear? Best places to shop for children's swim wear?
Thank you in advance

My 18 month old wears an all in one of long 2 piece swimsuit with a swim nappy underneath.

John Lewis, mothercare of Jojo I've found are good stockists.

I got my daughter a all in one with short sleeves and legs from sainsburys the other day ( only £8) didn't see if they had a boys equivalent but they did have lots of choice for girls so could be worth a try.

We just use the cossies we got him for our summer holiday - UV all in one swimsuits, with a disposable swim nappy underneath.

I have my 18month old in a neoprene wetsuit with elbow and knee length sleeves. I put a swim nappy underneath . The pool is warm but they do get cold quickly . Brilliant for the beach too as it provides factor 50 sun protection

We just go for a happy nappy until they are out of nappies - about 2ish. Then "bikini" bottoms for girls or swim shorts for boys.

We don't worry about cold.
They have rash vests for hot.

Happy nappy of still in nappies

Otherwise just trunks ( the small ones not board shorts), or just Bikin bottoms on girl

At that age ds had disposable and happy nappy as also policy with all in one swim suit over. We used mother care mainly and still do. Jojo also do some cute two piece ones which have shorts and top and are a bit easier for changing. Op ds had eczema too and we have found that he needs a shower and his cream immediately after coming out of the pool but if that is done it actually seems to help his skin.
