6 months old waking up every 1-2 hours

Hi I've been struggling with sleepless nights so asking for advice. My yonder one is 6 months old ( have 2 year old as well). I'm breastfeeding. The last couple of months she started waking up every 1-2 hours wanting to breastfeed. I don't think she is hungry, just needs a bit of comfort and goes back to sleep. But I'm starting to struggle with the lack of sleep. I don't want to leave her screaming throughout the night, don't want to wake the older one, so I'm quick to offer the milk to keep her quiet. Any advice welcome

At four months babies move from that baby dead to the world sleep, where nothing disturbs them to adult REM sleeping patterns so they have periods of time when they are in a lighter sleep.

Sorry no advice with bf specifically and my DD is ff so this maybe th opposite but at 6 months her sleeping became dire so I started cosleeping and she even dropped a bottle a night immediately.

One of us had to sleep with our son until he was 2 years old or he would just wake up and cry for attention until he threw up. Co-sleeping was the only way we could manage. He would still wake up but then immediately settle as he wasn't alone. Some children are just lighter sleepers - sorry.

Thank you for the replies. We are cosleeping, otherwise I couldn't cope. Just reassuring myself that it won't last forever Smile
