Any good/ your child's favourite purée?
Lack of inspiration keep doing the same things, need to batch cook for DS 7mo.

They Can have pretty much anything except honey and whole nuts at that age. Have you tried pasta, rice, fruits, veg, meat, yoghurt, cheese, etc. And it doesn't all have to be puréed either as finger foods and mashed foods are fine too

This week I've batched
mince for shepherds pie/spag bol
tuna in a tomato sauce
apple and pear with cinnamon
mash potato
sweede
parsnip
carrot
cheese sauce
pork and apple casserole
roast chicken and roast veg
cauliflour cheese
cod
paprika chicken


We love - fish pie, mac cheese, cauliflour cheese; can you see a pattern? pasta with bolognaise/cheese sauce/tuna and tomato sauce, roast dinner - so chicken and roast veg blitzed. I basically see what we have in the fridge and then make something.

Carrot, corriander, courgette and chickpeas (we call it the 4 c's!). .

Chicken, butternut squash and grape is good

Also we do finger foods like fritters, muffins, grilled chicken pieces etc.
