My DS was a nightmare sleeper for the first few months, and with No 2 nearly here I am sorely tempted to try an Amby. Has anyone found them helpful?

i can't say because dd was in hers from day one, but i LOVED it and would recommend them to anyone. in fact, ours is round at my friend's house at the moment, both her twins slept in it when they were tiny, and now have one each. dd was always an excellent sleeper. can't say for definite that it was responsible, but it didn't do any harm and was so lovely to see her all curled up and cosy. both twins also sleep really well, btw. and my friend had one and her wee boy slept too...

I have one of these for my 3 month old and so far found it fantastic - she slept 6 hours through the night at 6 weeks and 10 hours at 10 weeks. Sometimes she stirs and it gently bounces her back to sleep, a small movement by her is enough to set it going. I use it with a grobag after recommendations from other MNers.
