How much do your DCs play video games?

DS loves video games. As far as he's concerned he could play them all day every day.

We've enforced some rules, such as no gaming except Fri to Sun.

ExH says DS should have only 3 hrs of gaming total over this weekend period. I think 5-6 hours total (1.5-2 hrs a day) is more reasonable considering how much DS loves gaming.

I would very much like DS to have other fulfilling activities and interests too, not just games, whilst at the same time I respect that gaming is currently his 'special interest'.

I'm interested in how other parents deal with this situation, or whether you find it a problem at all.
