My ds bedtime is getting longer and longer. I used to do it in thirty mins but it has just been 1.5 hours! Had a lovely bath, stories but then the tears when i leave! I have a five month old who needs to be put to bed too and the longer it goes on the harder it gets. I do bedtimes on my own.

No advice but I have three years old and 16 week old, three year old has always been put to bed by me and only falls asleep with me there... I found putting little one down first works well while big one watches tv/leap pad (little one breast feed to sleep) then sneak off for mommy bedtime with big one...

Same as above. My twins were 2.5 when the youngest was born. I had to put the baby to bed first while the twins watched tv or looked at books in my bed, otherwise it was impossible to do bedtime on my own. My twins are now 4 and I still tell them that I will keep popping in to see them and that I am just going downstairs to tidy up etc. I think it reassures them.
