SMA Hungry Baby Clumpy??

Just after some advice really.

My HV has advised I put DD on hungry baby food. She has always been on SMA so I followed suit and brought SMA hungry baby.

I've got a Tommee Tippee bottle prep machine and make the bottles as instructed.

Thing is, it's clumpy. Really bad. At times it even blocks the teat so my poor baby is getting frustrated because she's sucking away and nothing's coming out.

Has anybody else had this and how did you over come it?

It's not a dodgy tin because I'm on the third/fourth one now and am still having problems.

TIA x

What age is your lo? Hungry milk is more suited to older babies as they near weaning age. Have you tried making the milk up hotter water in the way it tells you to on the packet? There are concerns that the perfect prep doesn't maintain heat long enough and the hot shot may not be of a high enough volume to dissolve the formula.

You could also try a faster teat
