Hi all.

I need inspiration for a place for ds's soft toys. He won't keep them on the bottom of his bed do they end up all over his room.

Not got a lot of floor space so wondering what options there are??

We've got plant baskets on the wall. Will find a pic

I have this problem. But Dd's have crept from the bed and bred all over her room. There is apparently a teddy storage hanging thing from ikea. It hangs from the ceiling and has lots of compartments for teds.

One of those hanging contraptions from ikea?

Sorry Olivia I seen them, they look good but they're really long and won't suit his room.

kavvLar Mon 30-May-16 20:51:55

Toy net. Total game changer.

Oliviacolemansshriek Mon 30-May-16 20:53:29

How about something like this then?
I don't work for ikea, I just went yesterday so It's fresh in my mind grin
I got a trofast unit for toys but it's not great for soft toys as they're so bulky.

Growingbeanno2 Mon 30-May-16 20:53:58

Sorry x post. Like that idea

Growingbeanno2 Mon 30-May-16 20:56:36

Olivia great minds. Actually feel like I live in an idea showroom. I have the steps draw set for his toys! Um excuse the mess!

kavvLar Mon 30-May-16 20:56:59

They're brilliant. And it even makes a game out of tidying soft toys as you lob them in from all over the room.

What about just a big cargo type net you can put on the ceiling or a wall

I have one of those overdoor coat hooks (like this with long handled cloth bags hanging off it full of soft toys- you just have to make sure you knot the handles so they can't get their head in them and hang themselves and I deliberately bought a cheap flimsy one so it would break under their weight.
I also have a 'toy hammock' that hangs higher up the wall - like this so DC needed to ask to get one out of there (can reach now!) mine was smaller than I expected so check out the sizes and I also needed to move it from the corner to flat on the wall (so held even less)
I stopped them having hundreds on their beds as I spent my life picking them up off the floor and it made changing sheets harder work than it needed to be...

elQuintoConyo Mon 30-May-16 21:02:12

DIY pouffe-thingy??
Cute hammock?

wonkylegs Mon 30-May-16 21:06:51

We have something similar to this in which all the teddies live.

Growingbeanno2 Mon 30-May-16 21:11:58

Good ideas! Love the hammock with the baubles

something like this? Looks deep enough to put lots of animals 'to bed'
