Sun cream

Has anyone got any tips when it comes to putting suncream on a child?

My son is 7 and due to his Autism he HATES being touched and hates the feeling of suncream I have tried getting him to do it but he won't go near it, he just freaks out :/ I have tried distracting him but again this results in him crying, kicking and screaming :/

I have also tried explaining to him the reason we have suncream but he simply doesn't understand (he is currently working at 12- 24 months )

It's got to the point we can't go out when it's sunny because the suncream sets him over the edge :/

Have you tried the sprays/aerosol ones to see if that helps? Faster application too
