App recommendations for 3yo/18mo

Due to go on a 6/7 hour flight with 3yo and 18mo next week. Looking for some good apps to keep them entertained. Can anybody recommend any that are tried and tested and can keep one of them occupied for some time. Educational ones would be good. Have purchased some mini headphones so noisy ones welcome too!

Thanks.

Have to confess when mine were similar age I downloaded lots of Peppa Pig for travel!

And lots of CBeebies favourites on iplayer.

Favourite apps are Toca Boca and CBeebies playtime.
Also talking Tom but not for long.

Will check iPad later and post if I remember more.

We have Talking Tom, agree though it wears off after 5 mins.

Downloading episodes is a good idea. Both girls love the same things so could do lots of Peppa pig and Dora. Will check out your other recs.

My 3yo loves the Duplo Trains app. It's a simple game he can play alone.

He also likes the Toca Kitchen one where he can "cook" all sorts of different food.

There's anther one called Sago Mini Ocean Swinmer which is a simple game where you make a little fish swim around and interact with all sorts of other sea creatures that Ds really likes too.

Wonderkind Little Town is good too. And might appeal to both your kids.

The icky mr fix is a lovely story one and dino dog, which my 2 an 4yo ds play a lot of, it's digging up dinosaur bones to make skeletons for a museum.

Duplo trains, which has already be mentioned is good.

These are all great, thank you. We've got the duplo train blocks so I'm sure a game version will go down well.

Have downloaded Cbeebies app and will check out wonder kind, Mr Fox and Dino dog.

Wow, I feel as though I've been missing out on precious quiet time and should have downloaded some of these earlier! Grin
