21mo dd is eating loads at the moment. It's mostly healthy stuff but the amounts seem big. Can you look at today's food and let me know what you think

1.5 weetabix with whole milk
Slice toast and butter
Banana
Children's portion of mince, potato, carrots and peas. (About two thirds the size of the adults portion)
2 handfuls satsumas
Organix carrot cake bar thingie
Rice, chicken curry and peas - about half the portion size of mine
2 pots (25g each) ff Greek yoghurt
An Apple

It sounds quite a lot, but remember she is growing really fast at this age plus constantly active - and tbh not one bit of that sounds unhealthy or bad for her!

Sounds fine to me. DS had a massive appetite (so much so that my mother commented that he ate more than the average 5 year old) until he was about 3 and then it tailed off a bit. He was just growing lots.

My dd is almost 3 now and her appetite is mini. However, I do remember a few times around 2 -2.5 where she would happily eat her own body weight in whatever we would give her.

I'd say that's all healthy food, if he's not getting fat then it's fine

DD used to eat a whole steak at a time when she was 2 and ask for more. It was kind of disturbing. Now she's 8, I'd say she can manage half a steak on a really hungry day.

Sounds fine to me, my toddler can eat me out of house and home. As long as her weight is fine and you focus on healthy food, I woudn't worry. They need loads of energy!

Sounds great and really yummy. Do you offer a meals on wheels service Grin

As previous posters said, if height and weight is fine, don't worry. They do have big growth spurts at this age, plus it can be reassuring to know if they have a cold and go off food a bit, you'll know when they are better when they are eating as before.
