I'm sure this thread has been done before but everyone's child is different right?
DD will be one on 4th September and I'm wondering what to get her. She's not crawling yet but I'm not sure she will as she can get everywhere by rolling and bum shuffling. I'd like to get her some things that encourage walking/pulling up. She also recently likes things with buttons she can press that play tunes.
I'm really sensing that she needs more interactive and advanced toys, she seems to bored with toys that don't do anything!
Any thoughts?

We got ours the Dusty ride-on plane - plenty of buttons that do things.

We bought our dd a walker with bricks in a tray that she enjoyed but walker type toys are quite short lived. As soon as dd could walk independently she barely used it again. Hoping it'll come back in when she's a little older for make believe play. A ride on scooter bug type toy will have more life.

One I wished I had know was dd really getting into books about a month after her 1St birthday. Didn't have many and would have been an easy present to request from family.
