I have a just turned fiver year old (who finished his school year 2 weeks ago) and a one year old (birthday today!) I'm also 2/3 months pregnant (scan Thursday to find out when due).

I am just sitting here in the garden with my 1 yr old while 5 yr old is out swimming with his nanny, and I'm wondering if I do enough activities with them. Currently 1yr in her own work crawling around, and I'm nackered ð??´ it's her birthday, should I be at some soft ball place with her (even tho she has no idea it's her bday lol).

This morning I made a bday breakfast with American pancakes yum, and took them out on an electric car around the close, it's now 3pm and wondering if I need to force myself to take her out somewhere else .

Background where we live: there's 10 family members here, mum dad, my brothers etc, we live in a 9 bedroom house with four dogs and many more animals lol, been playing out here for a few hours on the slide/swig.

How often do you take your children out? What do you do and where do you go with a 5&1 yr old and how often do you just leave them to make up their own games?

I'm probably being very hormonal and thinking that I'm the worst mum that's ever lived hahaha here but would like a perspective on how you live?
Thanks you xxx

If I lived where you do I would be in the garden too. However I live in a small flat with no garden so I take my 1yo out when I'm sick of him trashing the place.
