Has anyone had any success with this? I gave up breastfeeding after two weeks due to bad latch, poor support and tongue tie (which they refused to cut). I've regretted it ever since. I still feel an incredible urge to put my baby to my breast and can't shake it.
She's four months now and I don't know if it's possible to re stimulate my milk production and I don't think I would get any support from hubby with it.
Seems a bit hopeless but I'm still so devastated.

Look at kellymom.

She's a genius. Also ticktok on these boards is the same for amazing support and knowledge.

Good luck!

Try La Leche League also, for help?
So sorry you couldn't get tongue tie cut.
We had tt cut 3 times before we got a correct latch! It was cut properly at Southampton general - if that's near you, I'd recommend begging a gp referral.

Hi op, I had to give up breastfeeding due to illness for three weeks and my milk supply was down to zero after surgery, infection, meds etc.

I realise that you have had a much longer break but hopefully these tips will help you.

Let baby sleep with a dummy, then gently pull out the dummy and give your nipple. The sucking will activate your milk supply and its the best way to get the baby to stay on the breast when there is no milk.

Lay baby on her back and get on all fours on top of her. Give her your nipple and then gently squeeze your breast to get more milk out, kind of like milking a cow!

Above all, try to turn all breastfeeding sessions into playtime/cuddletime and try not to get frustrated if baby refuses to suckle. It can feel quite saddening when the baby refuses the breast at first, but over time you should build up a decent supply. I also ate oatmeal and fenugreek tea every day, good luck!

Thank you so much. Not sure if I'm going to manage it as I know hubby will think I'm insane and not support me in it and I have a 2 year old too but I really want to try.
I gave away my breast pump so not sure if I should buy another or just try to use the breast as comfort just now and see if that stimulates anything.
