My baby was born Feb 2015. Would like to know what other Feb babies are doing, or what you almost 4 month old could do.

Also, what games do you play? Thanks

Another Feb 2015 baby here. DS has started trying to roll (so far making it onto his side from his back) and can use his legs to push himself along on his back - which means he can get off the playmat.. He's cooing and we've had a few laughs. He's not so talented at sleeping for longer than 4 hours at night..
Mostly I talk to him and make silly faces. Also wiggling his legs, doing YMCA with his arms, that kind of thing.

Mine was born on 6th of February.

She's rolled once from her front to back yesterday for the first time. She's cooing and has noticed

she gets a reaction when she says mumumumumum so says it all the time now lol.
She's sitting unaided for around 20 seconds now when not tired.

We do some nursery rhymes and silly faces and stories etc but mostly she just watches me and her big sister and chats to us.

She has 1-2 night feeds still, sleeps fairly well but is a terrible feeder.

My son was born 15th Feb. He is very smiley and has had his first laugh but it hard to get him to do it again. Lots of noises, chatter, screeching and cooing. He sleeps well and is attempting to roll over now... Early days with this though. His biggest milestone is the grabbing stuff, he reaches out and tries to get items into his mouth but isn't very skilled at it at the mo so he nearly always settled for a good chomp on his fist instead.

DS was born in the middle of Feb, but he was a 34 weeker so there may be some milestones that he reaches a bit later than 'normal'. He's smiling a lot and cooing, and he looks like he might be heading towards rolling over but hasn't done it yet. He's not really grabbing things yet (only accidentally) but he's started to chew his fists. We don't play games as such but I sing to him (he finds this hilarious), read stories, show him his toys, etc. Sleep seems to be getting better, he's only waking for one night feed at the moment... but I'm getting a bit nervous about the idea of 4 month sleep regression!

We have a fist (and muslin) chewer here too. Gurgling, giggling and blowing raspberries on the cute side, an ability to whine on the annoying. He hasn't figured out how to roll over but can get onto his side. Sleep is still inconsistent to say the least Hmm

GeekyHybrid · 05/06/2015 19:32

Sorry, meant to add, rosybee we're also 6th February.

Roseybee10 · 05/06/2015 20:31

Good birthday Geeky :-)
What time was he born at? X

LolaBelle211 · 06/06/2015 09:13

My DS was a Valentine's Day baby, 10 days early. He loves to chew his fist/muslin/anything he can get his hands on. Tried to roll front to back for the first time yesterday, mostly in frustration as he's not keen on tummy time. He sleeps through with a dream feed when we go to bed - so lucky! One little giggle so far but not been repeated since, love all these cute little firsts that they do!

GeekyHybrid · 06/06/2015 11:18

Roseybee - he was born at 1255. What time was your LO born? We visited with his due date buddy yesterday and she's so chilled in comparison but I think that's generally true of 2nd / 3rd babies anyway!

MrsCorr · 06/06/2015 12:24

My son was born February 23rd. His latest trick is to take his dummy out of his mouth, wave it about a bit & then pop it back in (sometimes he misses & gets his eyes). He loves grabbing things, he's got a few toys that he picks up & tried to put in his mouth. Everything goes in his mouth but he's teething as well.
He's rolled over a few times but only during tummy time because he hates it so much!
He sleeps through from 8.30 until 6.30 most nights then has another couple of hours sleep usually until about 9. I know how lucky I am (he's bottle fed, don't know if that makes a difference). He doesn't really nap though during the day so days are long.
He smiles & laughs a lot for his daddy but not so much for me Hmm think he's a man's man! I try to make him laugh & he gives me a withering look!
I am so completely in love with him ?? sorry he's my pfb!

Roseybee10 · 06/06/2015 12:44

She was born at 7pm. Apart from her feeding she is really chilled and generally goes with the flow but she's a terrible feeder Hmm

RavioliOnToast · 06/06/2015 20:54

my DD is a terrible sleeper, we've been up there about 6/7 times already trying to soothe her whenever she wakes, she's so unsettled. This is the longest she's been down though so fingers x'd.

She can also take her dummy out and wave it around and she is grabbing hold of everything in sight trying to eat it.

it's good to hear all your little babies milestones :)

Hi there my DD born 4th feb loving to put everything in her mouth and taking out and replacing dummy, turning on her side especially to lick a toy/playgym bar. She rolls over from frint to back always now almost managing back to front. Will hold bottle to feed but can't put it back when spat out??. Hold her head really steady but this she has done for a couple if months . Loves to chatter real belly laughs when tickled and will try to copy some sounds I make. Favourite word is book which always makes her smile. Also now able to turn full circle on her back and push along floor off playmat. I'm really luck now sleeping through the night 8-6 ????. Loving every second of her babyhood.

Onabeach · 06/06/2015 22:10

DS born 15th feb, he is very close to rolling over very smiley and giggly. Loves to grab his toys and make a lot of noise! Loves it if you chat back to him. Turns himself round in circles when laying down. And now very good sleeper usually about 12 hours I am very lucky! Did get an early 4 month sleep regression though that was living hell but once we both figured out a good bedtime routine And I realised he didn't want to fall asleep in my arms anymore it got so much better!

Roseybee10 · 06/06/2015 22:15

Onabeach this is the problem we're having. Dd now hates going to sleep in my arms. She likes her own space. We started putting her down awake in her cot at bedtime last week and she's doing really well that way. She prefers to nap in her swing or in my caboo wrap but hates being held.
Dd1 was the opposite and wanted held all the time. Have a feeling this one is going to be an independent little thing lol.

misstiggiwinkle · 09/06/2015 23:15

Ds born 4th Feb, he's giggling, screeching, cooing a lot, sort of making his own conversations. Occasionally answers something I say with a gurgle. Sitting almost unaided, holding small items and bringing them to his mouth. Not rolling yet but hates tummy time. Sleeping through the night.
Oh and the main one...he has 6, yes 6 teeth! Started teething about 3 weeks ago and they are popping through rather frequently. Lots of finger chewing, biting, crying etc. haven't noticed a 4 month sleep regression as too preoccupied with the teething!

lexyloub · 09/06/2015 23:57

Ds born the 22nd he's cooing and grunting. He's gives lots of smiles and little giggles although I'm yet to get the belly laugh from him. He's not really playing as such he likes being on his play mat kicking and looking at himself in the mirror. He does well sleeping too 10 -12 hrs every night. He's a happy smiley contented baby Smile
