I got a starter pack from Little Lamb for my 11 month old and it all makes a bit more sense now that I have actually seen them, and now I know which types I prefer (prefer the separate nappies and wraps, not pockets, and velcro rather than poppers). I would say it's been a success so far in that there has been no leakage onto clothes and no signs of discomfort, so I plan to at least continue using the ones I've got with disposables while they're being washed, and see how they go. I just had a few queries about the practicalities though:
- If the nappy is wet do you change the wrap too? I'm presuming not as the various guides I've seen suggest you need fewer wraps than nappies. If not, how often do you change the wrap?
- Baby did 3 poos yesterday instead of his normal 1 (how do they know when it will be particularly inconvenient...) - all three got onto the wrap and nappy as well as the liner - does this mean I'm doing something wrong in terms of positioning or is it just to be expected?
- How on earth do you do the poppers up around the back with the baby lying on his back? When I saw them in pictures I presumed the poppers went at the front!
