When to put baby into cot in their own room?

Any advice on when is best to put baby into the cot in their own room instead of the crib next to our bed? Our little one is 4 months old now. I know the official advice is to keep them in your room until 6 months old but she is getting big for the crib and I also worry a bit about it being harder to settle her in her own room if we wait a little longer. That said, I am not really in a hurry to move her through as she sleeps pretty soundly and I guess I'd worry if she was too far away from me at nights.

Current advice is 6 months. I would stick with current advice.

For the sake of another eight weeks, keep her in your room. We had to swap to a travel cot the last month or so. Worth it for peace of mind.

Travel cot is a good idea if she outgrows the crib and that way she can stay in our room. Thanks.
