How much does she weigh now?

i dont think the weight gain in itself would be anything to worry about - my ebf baby put on nearly 2lbs in 10 days at 6weeks :S he's enormous but i see it as a good buffer if he ever has the cold and the hv is cheering me on. I know nothing about ff though!

DS never lost and had gained by 11 days too. He was BF on demand though so not sure of the actual amounts he was having.

At one stage the little gannet was putting on a lb a week.Eventually he slowed down and is now average size (not the sumo baby I was worrying about!) He's 1 now and has just evened out.

This early on, I'd say any gaining is fine. Congratulations on your

As long as she is happy and enjoying her milk it's totally normal! They're all different!
DD didn't regain her birth weight until she was a good two weeks old. At four months she is the same size and weight as DS at 6 months shock both BF. But she has gone from average to top of the chart. She is just doing her own thing. Enjoy your tiny baby

DD was EBF, never dropped lower than her birth weight and gained at least an ounce a day for the first 2 weeks! It evened out and she has followed the 50th centile since birth (now 13 months).

You'd expect a 9lb baby to have around 22-23oz of milk a day. If she's not vastly above that then I wouldn't worry.

They usually lose at 5day weight check with midwife but have gained again by 10-14 day primary birth visit with health visitor.

My ds who is now 6weeks was 8,10 at birth n 8,5 at 5 days and then 9lb at 11days n 10lb 2oz at 22 days and at 4wks 6 days 12lb 5oz and when weighed Mon I expect will be nr 14lb.

So yes 10oz is normal we have averaged just over a lb a week [16-18oz]

Same scales or different scales?

Neither of my ebf babies lost any weight and both went through gaining 1lb per week in early weeks. I don't think any baby gains at same speed though your baby could stack on weight in early weeks then even out
