I want to try giving ds colief but it sounds such a faff with bf and a baby that cries 24/7 so im intrigued. ( we currently use dentinox)
how do you do it?
Does it work?
Is it worth the hassle?
Thanks :)

It didn't do anything for us.

Helped enormously for us.

Express a little milk onto teaspoon or cup. Add drops. Give to baby. Bfeed as normal.

There is no evidence that any of the commercial products for colic work.

Have you seen this website? It's very good on the subject of crying babies ...

It worked for us . I found some advice online about using it whilst breastfeeding. I used to let my DS feed for a couple of minutes first (as there needs to be some milk in their tummy for the enzyme to start working on) then remove from breast and put the drops of colief on the nipple and put DS back on. It seemed to do the trick. Then we weaned him off the drops once he turned 4mths old. It's worth trying it to see if it works for you.

Helped DS2 very much, although he was bottle fed and we added drops to the bottle. It's an enzyme, so works best if you leave it to operate at a warm temp for 30 min.
