Can someone help - I was thinking of buying a bottle warmer to put on when I go to bed so the bottle is the right temp as soon as ds wakes in the night? Or can it only be switched on as and when the bottle is required? TIA

you need to heat it as and when you need it as milk can only be left standing for 1-2 hours depending on which rules you go by.

We got a bottle warmer and found it useless it takes quite a while to warm up before you can put the bottle in, put the money towards a tommee tippee perfect prep machine they are an absolute godsend!

Perfect prep machine is a waste of money imho. Boil some water, cool, and put in a covered jug in fridge. In the middle of the night, boil kettle, put a couple of oz into bottle. Put full amount of powder in. Shake. Using a separate bottle, measure the rest of the oz out and pour onto the boiling water and formula. For example for 6oz do 2oz of boiling, add 6 scoops and then 4oz of cold boiled water, always use a separate bottle to measure the cold boiled water out. (if your baby is over 6 months you could even use tap water) Et voila, perfect temperature, no expensive price tag!
