Stuck in the house for the 5th day with 2 kids . Think I'm brain dead!!! Kids are fed up with my boring little walks to get some fresh air.
Is it to early for wine??

I'm with you, OP.

My DCs haven't even done me the courtesy of catching it together either, the next only breaking out as the last one recovered. We are in our 4th week now...Hmm

Did you do 2 weeks for each child?? I was going to set mine loose again from Monday , nearly all the spots have scabbed. Should I wait another week??

Oh no! Many sympathies, I have been there! DS had CP at 3.5 a couple of years ago. It absolutely knocked him out and he was covered in spots from head to toe. He was poorly for 9 days. 3 days later DD's spots came out. She was only 9 months old and suffered awfully. Just as she was getting better, dS got bronchitis.... Then she did.... 5 weeks from first spot to last wheeze between them. Just as well I was on Mat Leave anyway!

It's been fun...

If I see one more episode of Fireman Sam, play one more game of snakes & ladders or go 'autumn leaf collecting in the garden one more time.

My one consolation is that when it is over, I'm done with the pox forever.

Can you not go somewhere dserted? Once my son felt better but still had the spots we went to play under a flyover. No one else around to catch the pox but thank goodness he could do some running.

Do you have any friends whose DC have had c pox? If so, can they come over & play? That saved my sanity when 1yo DC2 had it but 3yo DC1 had already had it so was her normal active self. Yes, I know there was a chance DC1 could have caught it but the friend who came over was DC'S best friend and they had been at nursery on the same day when the friend's first spot was noticed so had already been in close contact with DC1.
