My 14 Month Old Only Eats This...

....and believe me, I keep on trying stuff but she just doesn't like it. She won't eat meat, nor pasta, nor cheese :(

she eats:
Peas
brocolli
green beans
porridge with honey
buttered toast... she won't eat cold bread?!
ravioli
frozen stuff like chicken nuggets... I take the breading off. She won't eat chicken from breast?! She has turkey and fish bites with breading on because its too fiddly to take off.
waffles and other potato shape things... but she won't have actual potato!
Petit filous
heinz fruit pots
crackerbread
rice cakes

I have to give her the same stuff each week but in a different order! I've also tried sausages, lamb, meatballs, mozzarella, ham, beans, raisins, philadelphia, jam on the bread, stew, grapes, bananas... I could go on!

my main question is.... is this amount of different foods average for a 14 month old and if I keep giving her things will she eventually like them??.

I have a fussy one too. Will your dd eat potatoes mashed/new/baked? Also what fruit is she having? My dd is not a fan of fruit but I hide fruit puree in her yogurts and try fruit smoothies and dried fruit too.
Maybe try rice? Also my dd wasn't overly keen on pasta but I tried different shapes Sainsburys do some good ones and different sauces homemade but in the end it was the Annabel karmel pouches and now she loves pasta.
My Hv said dd was eating ok but to keep giving the vitamin drops so I give those in her yogurt too.

I would definitely keep trying all different things. And
let her see you eat too. I wouldn't give her the fish finger type things if it was me because they are processed.

You can make chicken meatball type things with chicken mince, breadcrumbs, grated apple and a beaten egg. It might be the texture of the chicken breast she doesn't like. Does she like fish? That's a different texture.

"They" say it takes 20 times to accept a new taste.

With DS (dc1) I pandered to his fussiness, which began at a similar age, and at 3.5 he's still difficult and fussy.

We now go down the approach of, food put in front of him, eat if you're hungry, if not fine. He's not underweight.

Dd is 10m and funnily enough I've learnt my lesson. I make good food available. Fruit or yoghurt is offered afterwards whether dinner eaten or not. No substitutes. Determined to stick with this unless she becomes underweight.

The fussiness gets worse IME. Keep offering new tastes and try to stay away from processed, it all tastes the same. Chicken nuggets and fish fingers are dead easy to make, just dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
