Appropriate parental behaviour/bodies

I have a challenge as a parent. I experienced sexually inappropriate behaviour and sexual abuse within my nuclear family. Yes shed loads of therapy. Yes I hate Christmas...yes I have had mental health problems. Go figure.

Anyways I am hyper vigilant about not exposing my 6 year old son to anything inappropriate and because of my history don't trust my instincts.

What's your attitude towards nudity in front of your sons mums? Do they show an interest in your body? Just want to get an idea of where others stand. I now only get dressed near my twin girl and encourage hubby to just get washed/changed around my boy... Paranoid maybe...

My husband and. I are both happy to be naked around our dd (aged 9). As soon as she seems be be uncomfortable with it, we will do something different.

I am happy to be naked with my 4 year old son and he is comfortable with this. He has told me that he doesn't like having his bottom squeezed so I don't do that. If I am uncomfortable with the way he is touching me (I mean generally physically uncomfortable, eg getting squashed) I tell him that I'm not comfortable and ask him to stop. If v he does more than incidental touching of my genitals I explain that my vulva is a sensitive area and that I prefer it if people don't touch it.

Our family tends to be more comfortable about nudity and talking about sex and reproduction than average.

The 4 year old is more interested in my body than his big sister is. She is quite interested in his. I hear them comparing notes sometimes. They get a bit giggly and make up songs about wee, poo and rude body parts

I am happy to be naked in front of my 4yo ds or 1yo dd and happy for my husband to be as well. It would generally be incidental, eg getting changed after a shower. I don't hang about while naked.

DH and I are both happy to be naked in front of our ds's (8 and 5). They are happy with that and also to be naked in front of us (DS2 loves being naked at any given opportunity!).

We'll take our cues from them about changing.

We don't mind getting changed in front of 7yo and 5yo ds and dd.

Both Of them laugh at boobies and willies. Think this is normal.

I am naked around/have baths with my 3.5 year old DS. He is interested in my body and how it differs from his, says he likes my boobies etc. I have talked to him about boundaries/private areas and behaviour - for example I won't let him pull at my top to see my boobs because it's private, if he wants to play with his willy he can but on his own in his room not on the sofa.

I think we will both/all (me, DP and DS) be naked around each other until DS is uncomfortable with it.

We have a ds who is 6 and a dd who is nearly 4. Both dh and I are still happy to be naked/bath with the kids. Both children still happy for that to happen too.

Ds has wanted privacy in the bathroom for the past few years which we respect. I think we will take the children's lead and continue as long as they are comfortable.
