DD at nursery, I'm off work...feel lost

my 20 month old goes to nursery 2 full days a week while I work - (been doing this 4 or so months). But today its half term (im in education) so while im off, DD still had the option of nursery. She seems to like it, I had work from home I could do, Im 8 months pregnant and we pay a lot (£90 a day) so I thought I would take her in to nursery for just the afternoon. I just feel so guilty as she doesn't need to be there! Im quite enjoying the rest and i've done loads of work, but the house feels so silent and empty and I feel horrible, tense and weird! anyone else had this?

Oh I've had this feeling - and to make it worse when I picked DS up there had been a powercut, and he was the last one there sitting on his own in the dark playing with a torch (with staff obv!) ! I wouldn't worry - enjoy it! She won't know the difference and with the imminent new arrival you deserve to enjoy a quiet day while you can Grin

Enjoy it, really!

I do shift work and occasionally have to work a weekend which means I have a day off on DS's nursery day. Usually I clean the house (without a two year old trying to help!). But sometimes I go shopping, get my hair cut, see friends etc.

Don't feel guilty, just relax. I'm waiting for my DS to come home and can't wait to see him.

You're 8 months pregnant. You're crazy to be feeling guilty. Feet up, young lady :)
