Is this something you are currently doing or will be doing soon?
I am currently surviving a newborn and a toddler with help from a moby wrap and peppa pig.

I had 3 under 3. My only real tip is get a sling for the baby. And it goes really quickly! Good luck

What's the question?

You will survive, everyone does. But it's hard work.

Try and be as organised as possible.

If you're still pregnant, precook lots of dishes now and freeze them, ready to put in the oven.

You'll probably still have baby things left, so ask people to bring meals rather than presents.

Sling, sling, sling!

Try and get out of the house, so your toddler can blow off some steam. It seems daunting to dress yourself and two tinies in lots of winter clothes. But you'll feel better for it after.

Lower your standards.

Remember, it will be just a phase. Mine are 2 and 3 now and play together beautifully. I actually managed to iron for 2 hours yesterday while they entertained themselves.

Good luck and enjoy the newborn cuddles!

get a wrap or carrier! i use the baby k'tan carrier and it is a life saver. the idea to precook and freeze meals is also a great one. wish i would have thought of that!

I used to let baby sleep in the sling literally all day so I had the mental energy for the others, play with her in the evening after their bedtime and then let her sleep at my breast all night. Tjis worked well for a few m

The thing I'm finding tricky some mornings is the school run

Do you walk to school? If so, you might be able to get baby into a sling still asleep.

Is that the problem - getting baby out of the house with the others? Or is t getting everybody organised?

We drive unfortunately Hmm
It's the organisation really, and the getting everyone ready without nagging them or feeling stressed to do so Hmm

Like today...
1.5 yo and 5 wo were asleep so I had my cup of tea, peace for An hour or so, got some washig done etc. And I can't help but feel I should be spending my spare time playing with dd1 or whoever happens to be Wake at each time. I feel so crappy.

I wish I could play all the time but I just needed a little rest! But doesn't stop the guilt..

I feel like I should've spent the time doing educational things, puzzles etc giving her time??
