Please help, I've got to sleep in the room in question later and although I've scrubbed the carpet twice it's such a strong smell.
Anyone know of any cleaning product that might help?
Bicarbonate of soda, let it absorb a bit, then hoover it up. I also use lavender and tea tree oil. Good luck!
She threw up yesterday, it's been scrubbed, dried then just scrubbed with carpet shampoo again. Do I need to wait for it to dry again before using bicarb?
Thank you, you've just saved my marriage...
Thanks you two. How long do I now need to leave the bicarb on the damp patch?
Shit on it
Thanks fairyfly... handy advice...
PML - fairyfly!!! and your reply ironmaiden!!!!
Have you tried fairy washing up liquid? Its a powerful fat dispersal which is what causes the smell.
Or maybe that's just milky stuff???? Worth a go though as it workedon my son's vomit just the other day. Brand new carpet...... typical!
