the top of the teat of DS's (2.1) bottle has come off and has been thrown away. (by my ever forward thinking DP- not). I could have got a new teat for it, but now its in some landfill site I can't(rant over).
Anyway, over the last couple of days have tried the big boys cup thing with a new cup especially for milk to no avail. This is about the third or fourth time we have tried it, so I know DS will be resisting because he will think that the bottle will come back, but this time it can't! Ive tried alsorts, making a big deal out of big boys cup, him watching me pour it in so he knows its milk (he used to take one sip and be horrified because he thought it should be water or juice, and still nothing.
DS is a faddy eater and the bot bot was the one thing I could guarantee each day that would get some goodness into him. As he has had no milk for a couple of days I have been trying to substitue (ie he had welsh rarebit for brekkie this morning), but it seems such a shame because he does love milk!
What should I do guys? give in a buy another bottle, or stick it out and substitute for now, hoping he will come round?
TIA
