Honestly I feel like contacting supernanny!!

I have 3 dc 2,6,9. Mealtimes have become like a zoo!! Shouting out, pointing , telling eachother jokes, farting and lots of bum/poo talk. Then they get a fit of the giggles - all the while the 2 yr old shouting out random things like 'poopoo head' to join in.

Tonight I have told the older two that after bath they are going into their rooms and not coming back down. My eldest came to get her reading her book-each time she reads she gets a team point at school - I know this is really important to her - so I have told her that tomight she is not reading in the hope that tmrw she will not mess about when she realisies what the consequence is.

She defiantly stood there with her arms crossed and argued with me. I almost had to chase her to get it. In the end i said said id get her dad and so she left thebook and ran upstairs. When I tried to go in her room she held the door so I shoved it open and clipped her toe - she shouted and pushed me and screamed to get out of her room!!

It is chaos - pushing shouting arguing - i dont want any of that - i love her - and whats worse is the others just watch and learn. Please help me - what are your tips- was I too harsh - how can i deal with this better?

THank you xxx

Sorry I don't have the answers Hmm but my DSs (7 and 9) are exactly the same - mealtimes are the worst and just general defiant attitude/totally ignoring any request. I don't know if it helps to know others are same Blush ?

Plus shamelessly place marking in case of solution SmileSmileSmileSmile
