DS was still having milk in the night at that age (he was also in our room). We'd give him the bottle and he'd settle down pretty much immediately and go back to sleep once he'd had enough. If you don't want to reintroduce a bottle at this point there are some non-leak sippy cups you can look into. Not sure if this will work for you, but it could be worth a try.

Also if this is an option for you with regards to space, DSs sleep improved immensely when we moved him to his own room. Went from frequent nights with 2-3 wakings, to 1 waking at the most (and sometimes even sleeps through since about 20mo).

Just keep putting her back to a lying position, then either keep your hand rested on her or sit beside the cot. Don't take her out of the cot.
