WWYD - calpol or not?

My DS had his 3rd lot of injections today. He last slept at 4pm for half hour and fed properly at 4.45. He's been screaming now since 6.30pm.

I think he's overtired as every time he goes to drop off he wakes up screaming. He's had a little ebm from a bottle but won't take anymore and won't bf. Tried his dummy but he won't keep it in his mouth and screams with it in. He fell asleep in the car seat earlier but when I picked him up to put him in the cot he woke up again.

Should I try calpol now? I don't want to use it if it won't make any difference, WWYD?

Calpol. or Nurofen. I find Calpol keeps my son awake.

Yes. Check his temperature, check his injection sites - might be a little red and slightly swollen but shouldn't be grossly so - and give him Calpol. He's feeling grotty and has sore legs! (I'm a GP)

Thanks all, I gave it and within 10 minutes he was asleep!
