I have the babystart ria from argos,

DS loves it as its more roomy than his oyster was and adores his snack tray!

The basket is huge, it's steering one handed isn't great though (mostly because he prefers to move to the side I suspect) but it's £70 and Emma's diary have a £25 voucher and folding is easy.

We have used the Micralite fastfold and it is fantastic - it is light, folds pretty small and stands upright, and is easy to manoeuvre with one hand. We bought it for around £120 and we love it - much more than the tank that is the Loola.

Would really reccommend the bjcm. I swapped from a maclaren to a bjcm for dd as my maclaren had seen better days. I do love maclarens and they are great, but the fold on the bjcm is fabby.

I swapped my Bugaboo Donkey for a Baby Jogger City Mini Twin when my twins where 1 for exactly the same reasons as you. I love the BJCM and the single version is teeny tiny. I hate the Mclarens, difficult to push and don't fold up small. On the plus side I was able to sell the Donkey, buy the BJCM and their next stage car seats and have change left over!

A cosatto stroller? Any other stroller?. Take a look at amazon and check out ones with decent reviews!

Why are you anti-McLaren? They're designed for exactly what you want. If there's any likelihood of you needing a double then I recommend a Joovy.

Baby jogger city mini? Folds and opens in two seconds with one hand. There is a pushchair board with some really knowledgeable posters that may help you more.

Have a lovely posh icandy at the mo. However, lovely posh icandy is big, heavy & I have to keep taking the bloody wheels off of it to get it in my boot!! DD is nearly a year old. Time to ditch posh, lovely looking pram for practical. Do I really have to buy a Maclaren??? Every1 seems to have them. Buying a stroller is stressing me out. Someone just tell me what to buy please. I let up the opportunity of a second hand bugaboo bee & really kicking myself now!!!!
