Dd has not pooed for about 36 hrs. Just one tiny ' pebble' . Think she is constipated. Typically it's Saturday and no docs over the weekend. Heard about orange juice and prunes. Any other advice to get us through the weekend??

Plenty fluids, u can massage the stomach and pushing legs up and down, my dd went through a stage of being constipated too, but we got lactulose from doc and only had to use it a wk and she was returning to normal x

Try one part cooled boiled water to one part pure juice (pear is good). Works really well

yes to upping fluid intake, water and juice best, don't up milk intake

in the short term tis she's sorted, avoid bananas and weetabix as they can really dry out stools making them hard to pass (anecdotally)

Nectarines. I give dd one of those when she's constipated and it makes her go quickly.
