I'm 23..&haven't had an evening out (just adult company) in three years. It's not important, but I feel like it would be good for me to let my hair down. Also been under a lot of stress the past year do it would have been nice to spend time with dp...think is though I don't feel confortable leaving my girls.... Not so much who they're with. Just I feel lost without them!

I am breast feeding dd2 so this is another reason. But I just feel like I've forgotten to be me, and not just mummy!

Which is the stronger feeling.....
The one which tells you you have to get out and be yourself again?
Or the one which tells you you're not ready to leave your DC?
Whichever is shouting louder listen to it. I hated leaving my little one when he was tiny. Now I enjoy it every once in a's normally in the evening when he is tucked up in bed anyway. So I'm not really missing much. Are you with them all day every day? If so it might be good for both them and you if you were to go out?
Perhaps just an hour or 2 at first. See how you feel?
